Mentalhead is the pseudonym of Anton Van den Steen, an art student using poetry and photography as his chosen media. Currently studying at KASK, School of Arts in Ghent.

As you’ve probably guessed yourself, the alias is the combination of metalhead and mental health merged into one word. The mentality refers to my anthropologic interest in our inner world and how we as a society interfere with it on one hand. And of course, the unconditional love for the metal scene on the other.
