One likeminded family

One likeminded family

My music photography is all about showing the connecting power of music.

Concerts and festivals, to me, are a momentarily disconnect from dread and other uncomfortable aspects of daily life or by extent the current world we live in.

Meantime you connect to a likeminded crowd. For that night or weekend it doesn’t matter what your politics are, what your skin tone is, which country you’re from and what language you speak, what gender you identify as and who you fall in love with. Because we all attended because of the same reason: our love for the same music.

Complete strangers are looking out for each other like we are one big family. We mosh, and when someone falls they help you back on your feet immediately. If it’s a bigger issue the band stops performing and only continues after they make sure everyone is alright again. That caring spirit is the essence I want to capture.

When someone looks at my photographs, I want them to feel like they were there living the experience with me.
